I offers weekly pregnancy relaxation classes designed to support you emotionally, mentally, and physically as you journey towards birth.

These classes are a calm, nurturing space where you can pause, breathe, and feel held. In Old Town, Swindon.

Each week we gather for a one-hour circle, creating a supportive, grounded environment where you can take a moment away from everyday life to connect with your baby & growing body

❋ What to Expect

Connection & Sharing
We begin by sitting together in a circle and checking in with ourselves. This is a space to share how pregnancy is feeling for you — the joys, the worries, the questions, and the changes. You’re never required to speak, but always welcome to.

Preparation & Reflection
Each week we explore a thoughtfully chosen topic to help you prepare for birth and early motherhood. Topics may include working with fear, building trust in your body, understanding the birth process, the importance of birth partners & advocacy, all topics will aim to create confidence and calmness towards birth. Guided by myself, as a Doula & Hypnobirthing Teacher.

Relaxation & Meditation
We close each session with a guided relaxation or meditation, written specifically for mums-to-be and coordinated with our topic of the circle. This allows you to close off your conscious mind for a moment, soften your body and have a rest. These sessions support deep connection with yourself and your baby, leaving you feeling grounded, centred, and restored.

Pregnancy can sometimes feels overwhelming or lonely. These circles bring connection and support to show you don’t have to do this alone and you can feel confident.

These classes offer:

Who Are These Classes For?

My pregnancy relaxation classes are open to all stages of pregnancy. If you would like to begin gentle birth preparation combined with relaxation in a nurturing space while connecting with other expectant mother’s, no previous experience with meditation or relaxation is needed — just a willingness to pause and care for yourself.

Rooted Motherhood is about grounding into yourself, trusting your innate wisdom, and preparing for birth from a place of calm rather than fear.

Ashra Wellness Studio

These classes will be held at the gorgeous, Moroccan inspired, Ashra Wellness Studio in Old Town, Swindon. Regularly on Sunday mornings at 10am, these classes will last for around 60mins. If you would like to book please visit Ashra’s booking site here.

  • These circles are a gathering once a week of mums-to-be with myself. They are an hour of time away from everyday life where you can focus on yourself and your growing baby. We will take a moment to discuss a different topic each week to help prepare for birth and build confidence. We will always finish with a guided meditation that aligns with the topic we explored. These are circles designed to help you enjoy and relax into pregnancy while feeling connected to others and prepared for birth.

  • You are welcome at any stage of pregnancy. There is no minimum or maximum, it is never too early to prepare and connect.

  • These pregnancy relaxation circles will be held in Old Town, Swindon at Ashra Wellness Studio. A gorgeous Moroccan inspired space where you will feel totally relaxed. There is plenty of parking near by making it easily accessible.

  • Not at all. The meditation is guided by myself, all you have to do is arrive, settle down, get comfy and listen. If you want to join in and share in the discussion part that is completely up to you as well.

  • Yes, everyone is welcome and these circles will benefit you regardless of your plans for birth and may even help you feel more prepared for options such as inductions and C-sections.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • While we do explore birth preparation topics and relaxation is a great tool to build on for birth, these are not to replace antenatal and Hypnobirthing Classes. They are a complementary practice focused on rest, nervous system support, and emotional wellbeing.

  • For these pregnancy relaxation circles you will want to be comfortable and cosy. So, wear whatever makes you feel calm and cosy. You will be sitting or lying down, mats, cushions and bolsters will be provided.

  • I want this space to feel intimate and connected so spaces are limited to create a safe and supportive atmosphere.

  • You can attend a single session although booking a block of sessions ensures you will cover a range of birth topics. Each circle stands alone, however regular attendance over the course can help deepen relaxation and connection over time and improve your confidence in your body and birth.

  • Not at all, you can join in on the discussions or sit back and take it all in. These are only a part of the whole circle.
