My Story

My journey into birthwork began when I was just 17, travelling to Tanzania to shadow midwives and witnessing birth in its most raw form. Later, I worked as a Maternity Support Worker at St Michael’s Hospital in Bristol, gaining hands-on experience within the UK maternity system and supporting families during some of their most vulnerable moments.

But the real turning point came when I had my first baby.

I have always been fascinated by birth and in awe of the innate wisdom of the female body. When I became pregnant with my daughter, I felt excited, grounded, and unafraid. Yet the birth I envisioned and the birth I experienced were very different. This contrast taught me something:

Trusting birth isn’t enough in the modern world.
Women need guidance, advocacy, and continuous, compassionate support.

This realisation led me to train as a Hypnobirthing Instructor, teaching expectant parents the tools they need to navigate the maternity system with clarity, confidence, and autonomy. I also specialised in perinatal massage, recognising how overlooked meaningful, nurturing touch often is during pregnancy.

In March 2025, I welcomed my second baby in a beautiful, empowering homebirth—so readily that the midwives didn’t arrive in time. It wasn’t the picture-perfect scene I had hoped for, but it was instinctive, transformative and deeply powerful. Even now, when I revisit that moment, I can still feel the incredible high of it.

That birth made my purpose clear.
I am meant to walk alongside women as they birth their babies.

Today, as a Birth Doula, I support women as they reconnect with their intuition, trust their bodies, and step fully into their power. To hold space for families during one of the most meaningful transitions of their lives is a true honour, and the heart of everything I do.

My hope is to nurture, empower, and uplift every family I work with—so they can look back on their birth with pride, joy, and the deep knowing that they were heard, respected, and supported every step of the way.
