You want to have as positive experience as possible
You want to remain in control of your choices
You & your birth partner want to remain calm throughout
You want to know what to expect and how to optimise birth
You want your birth partner to be fully prepared to support you
Are you feeling excited about meeting your baby but a little unsure or nervous about labour?
My Group Hypnobirthing Antenatal Course in Old Town, Swindon is designed to help you and your birth partner feel calm, informed and confident as you prepare for your baby’s arrival.
This one-day Hypnobirthing course in Swindon gives you practical tools, knowledge and techniques to approach birth with greater confidence, while helping you understand how your body and mind work together during labour.
I’ll be welcoming a small, intimate group of couples to the beautiful Ashra Wellness Studio in Old Town, Swindon, where we’ll explore how to let go of fear around birth and replace it with knowledge, calmness and confidence.
My shorter Hypnobirthing Essentials Course runs from 10am–3pm, making it ideal if you want to learn the key tools and information you need without committing to a longer antenatal course.
During our Hypnobirthing day together, we'll explore:
How to reframe your mindset around labour and birth
Hypnobirthing techniques to encourage relaxation and help you work with sensations during labour
Breathing and relaxation techniques you can practise before and during birth
Birth positions and movement to help you work with your body
The stages and process of labour and birth, so you know what to expect
Different types of birth, including vaginal birth, induction and caesarean birth
How your birth partner can provide meaningful support
Ways to navigate the maternity system and feel confident asking questions and making informed choices
How to create a calm, supportive environment for your birth
Practical tools to help you approach birth feeling prepared rather than fearful
My approach is positive, realistic and non-judgemental. Hypnobirthing isn't about guaranteeing a particular type of birth. It's about giving you the knowledge, preparation and techniques to help you feel supported and confident whatever your birth journey looks like.
Learn From a Doula and Hypnobirthing Teacher
As well as being a Hypnobirthing teacher, I'm a Birth Doula and Pregnancy Massage Therapist, so I bring my wider experience of pregnancy, labour and birth into every course.
My aim is to give you more than information. I want you to leave feeling that you have a better understanding of birth, practical tools you can actually use and the confidence to make informed choices throughout your journey.
You don't need to know exactly how you want your birth to unfold.
You just need to start preparing.
What’s Included?
Your course doesn't end when you leave the studio.

Hypnobirthing is a practical approach to birth preparation that combines relaxation, breathing techniques, visualisation, positive mindset work and education about labour and birth. It can help you feel calmer, more informed and confident about your choices, while giving you practical tools to use throughout labour.
-
Absolutely. Hypnobirthing can be particularly helpful if this is your first baby and you’re unsure what to expect from labour and birth. The course gives you knowledge about how birth works alongside practical techniques to help you feel prepared and confident.
It’s also valuable if you’ve had a baby before and would like a different or more positive experience this time.
-
My group Hypnobirthing course is held at Ashra Wellness Studio in Old Town, Swindon. A beautiful, calming space. I keep the groups small and welcoming so that couples have plenty of opportunity to ask questions, practise techniques and feel supported throughout the day.

During the course, we explore everything you need to know to approach birth feeling informed and prepared. Topics include:
Understanding how labour and birth work
Reframing fears and building a positive birth mindset
Breathing and relaxation techniques
Hypnobirthing techniques for managing sensations during labour
Comfortable and effective birth positions
Understanding different stages of labour
Birth preferences and informed decision-making
Hospital, home birth, induction and caesarean birth
How your birth partner can provide effective support
Communicating with your maternity team
Ways to create a calmer, more positive birth environment
-
Yes! Birth partners are an important part of the course. Rather than simply watching from the sidelines, your partner will learn practical ways they can support you during pregnancy, labour and birth.
You’ll both leave with a clearer understanding of what to expect and how you can work together as a team.
-
No. Hypnobirthing cannot guarantee a particular type of birth, and it isn’t about achieving a perfect or predetermined birth.
Instead, the aim is to help you feel informed, calm and confident, whatever your birth journey looks like. The techniques can be useful whether you are planning a home birth, hospital birth, induction, assisted birth or caesarean.
-
Not at all. Hypnobirthing is about preparing your mind and body for birth rather than choosing one specific type of birth.
Learning relaxation, breathing, visualisation and coping techniques can be valuable regardless of how your baby is ultimately born.

As a Birth and Postnatal Doula as well as a Hypnobirthing teacher, I bring practical experience and a wider understanding of pregnancy, labour, birth and early parenthood to my courses. Particularly physiological, natural, labour & birth as this is what I support a lot of.
My approach is warm, realistic and non-judgemental. I want you to leave feeling that you understand your options, know how to advocate for yourself and have practical tools to help you feel supported throughout your birth.
