Birth And Postnatal
Doula Support
I’m Jasmine and I provide Birth & Postnatal Doula Support in Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire. My Doula support is rooted in care, trust and connection throughout pregnancy, birth and into motherhood.
Your Dream Birth Experience Is Possible - Let’s Create It Together
Bringing a new life into the world is one of the most transformative experiences you will ever have. Whether this is your first baby or your fifth, you deserve to feel nurtured, informed, supported, and truly empowered throughout every stage of your journey. Pregnancy, birth, and the weeks that follow are profound seasons of life, and you don’t have to navigate them alone. With the right support, knowledge, and personalised care, you can approach birth with confidence, clarity, and a sense of calm that allows you to fully trust in your body and the process ahead.
If you’re looking for someone who offers bespoke care, grounded guidance, and heartfelt support during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period, you’re in the perfect place. As a dedicated birth educator and doula, my passion is ensuring that you feel informed, confident, and emotionally held—every step of the way. I’m here to help you create a positive birth experience that aligns with your values, preferences, and needs, no matter what path your birth may take.
I offer in-person support within approximately one hour of the SN6 postcode, covering most areas of Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Cotswolds & Berkshire and I bring the same level of commitment, warmth, and care to every family I work with. Whether you are hoping for a home birth, planning a hospital birth, or simply seeking clarity and confidence as your due date approaches, I’m here to walk beside you.
Creating Your Most Positive Experience
Every pregnancy and every birth is unique. What matters most is that you feel safe, supported, and empowered throughout the entire experience. My role as your doula is to help you prepare for birth in a way that honours your instincts, aligns with your desires, and provides you with the tools and knowledge to navigate any scenario with confidence.
Do you want to feel calm, grounded, and capable as you approach labour?
Do you want to know that no matter how your birth unfolds, you will be surrounded by unwavering support and evidence-based guidance?
Do you want the early days with your newborn to feel nurturing, supported, and filled with warmth, rather than overwhelming or uncertain?
If so, you are exactly who I’m here for.
How I support You
As your doula, it is my privilege to provide you and your family with continuous care—whether it’s during pregnancy, birth, or the postpartum weeks. My support is shaped entirely around your needs. That might look like emotional reassurance, practical support, birth preparation, or simply being a familiar, comforting presence.
During pregnancy
I offer evidence-based information and guidance so you can make informed decisions about your care. We’ll explore your birth preferences, discuss your options, and prepare your mindset and environment to support a positive birth experience—whatever that may look like for you.
During labour and birth
When your birthing day arrives, my support becomes even more focused and present. I remain by your side throughout labour, offering emotional reassurance, comfort techniques, physical support, and continuous encouragement. I am there to help you feel safe, calm, and in control, no matter how your birth unfolds.
My presence is not to replace your partner or care providers, but to complement them. I support the whole family unit by helping everyone feel confident and involved. I advocate for your preferences, help you process information, and create a nurturing atmosphere that allows you to focus on your experience with peace and trust.
During the postnatal period
The early days and weeks with a newborn are precious, but they can also feel overwhelming, exhausting, and intense. Postnatal care is a vital part of the support I offer. I ensure that you are nurtured, rested, and listened to during this time of adjustment. Whether you need emotional support, help with newborn care, breastfeeding guidance, time to rest, or simply someone to be there while you navigate this new chapter, I am here to hold that space for you.
You deserve to feel cared for, just as much as your baby does. Your wellbeing is at the heart of my postnatal support.
You deserve a birth and postpartum experience filled with love, confidence, and support.
Every family should have the opportunity to cherish their birth experience. Every parent deserves to feel nurtured in the postpartum period. And you deserve to be surrounded by care that supports your mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing.
Whether this is the beginning of your parenting journey or you’re welcoming another child into your family, your experience matters. Your story matters. And you deserve someone who is fully committed to supporting you every step of the way.
I would be honoured to walk alongside you, offering a safe, compassionate, and empowering presence throughout pregnancy, labour, and the weeks that follow.

As a birth doula I offer nurturing, compassionate support throughout pregnancy, labour, and birth. I work alongside your midwife/consultants to honour your choices and your birth journey.

A postnatal doula supports you during the tender weeks after birth — a time of recovery, bonding, and adjustment. My role is to nurture you as you care for your baby, offering emotional support, newborn guidance, feeding support, and gentle help around the home so you can rest and heal. Think of me as an extension of your arms, able to do all the things you can’t, while you rest or bond with baby.
-
Yes. I regularly support families birthing within the NHS in Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, and Oxfordshire, as well as home births. I work respectfully alongside midwives, consultants, and other healthcare professionals. As a doula, I do not provide medical care, but I help you feel heard, calm, and confident in your decisions. I also help you find evidence based information to naviagte the modern maternity system.
-
Most families book their birth doula between 20 and 30 weeks of pregnancy, though earlier or later bookings are sometimes possible. Postnatal doula support can be arranged during pregnancy or once your baby has arrived, depending on availability. The earlier you can book your doula, the better.

I support all births with the same gentle presence and care, including:
Home birth
Hospital birth
Water birth
Induction of labour
Planned or emergency caesarean
VBAC
Every birth is unique, and my role is to walk alongside you — whatever unfolds.
-
Always. A doula never replaces your birth partner — instead, I support both of you. I help partners feel confident and included, while also offering reassurance and allowing them moments to rest, eat, or breathe, knowing you are held and supported.
-
Yes. I support home births across Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, and Oxfordshire, working alongside community midwives. I also support planned and unplanned hospital births — my care adapts to you and your circumstances.
